Geography of Keerampara Grama Panchayat
Keerampara Grama Panchayat, located in the eastern highland region of Ernakulam district, is a naturally rich area situated at the foothills of the Western Ghats. The region is endowed with forests, hills, valleys, small rivers, and streams, making it renowned for its rich biodiversity and agricultural wealth. The topography of the Panchayat primarily consists of hilly slopes and midland areas. Due to the high annual rainfall received in the region, abundant water resources are available throughout the area. Agriculture is a major activity, with crops such as rubber, pepper, coconut, arecanut, and banana being widely cultivated. Blessed with scenic natural beauty, the Panchayat is rich in both forest and water resources. The fertile soil and favorable climatic conditions provide excellent opportunities for agricultural development.
